Incorporated in April 2000, Idyliq launched with one ideal – a communications company could be both a web developer and a marketing & communications agency.  Aside from the top international marketing & communications agencies, which began to launch interactive divisions this very same year, the middle market had yet to see a company servicing end-to-end communication solutions - hence, Idyliq was born.

Strategically founded in Canada’s Technology Triangle, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Idyliq continues to reap the benefits of both an entrepreneurial and information technology based community.  Home to Research in Motion (RIM), Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS), Open Text, and Dalsa Corporations, the area is brimming with local success stories in IT.   The University of Waterloo, whose science & engineering programs rank internationally as the finest in the world, is at the heart of the technology buzz in the area.  Recognizing the region as a hotbed for software development, Waterloo "got googled" in 2005, with the world's favourite internet company making Waterloo home with its newest office location.
